Paris. Mar. 29 (SUNA)- The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mohamed Yousif Abdalla inaugurated lately the Exhibition of Merowetic Civilization at Louver Museum in Paris in the presence of a number of politicians, officials and personalities concerned with the Sudanese
culture and the Merowetic Civilization specially, which will continue for six months
The inauguration was attended by the Ambassador of Sudan to Paris, the permanent envoy of (UNESCO) and the Minister of Culture at Nahral-Neil State, besides the Director of Louver Museum and the General Director for Antiquities, Dr.Hassan Hussein, and Brof. Yousif Fadul and number of Sudanese officials, scholars, officials and media and press men
The exhibition is accompanied by other activities including a major symposium held at Louver Museum, and another symposium on the (Merowetic Kingdom on the Nile) held at the Arab World Institute, a documentary film show on the (Merowetic Empire).that was attend by a big number of officials and media men. The exhibition will continue for six months to reflect the civilization of the Meroitic Empire in North Sudan
