Khartoum, Mar. 28 (SUNA)- Head of the government delegation for the peace negotiations of Darfur, Dr. Amin Hassan Omer, has lashed out at the Justice and Equality Movement, saying that this movement has signed a document of good will but it is working contrary to this
agreement on the ground and at the level of the media
At a press conference he held Sunday at the Sudanese Media Centre, Dr. Omer said that the Justice and Equality Movement did not abide till now by release of the government detainees whom it is holding
He said that the Chadians have abhorred the conduct of the Justice and Equality Movement and halted their support to it, appreciating the efforts of Chad for realization of peace in Darfur
Dr. Omer said that Chad has contributed to reaching the framework agreement between the government and the Justice and Equality Movement, but the second did not abide by this agreement
He referred to the role played by the Chadian mediator in boosting the work of the joint mediation, which is headed by Qatar and the international mediator Djibril Bassole, stressing that the State of Qatar is the sole forum for negotiation and signing agreement, but not Chad
He said that the negotiations in Doha did not stop, explaining that the negotiations are continuing in two tracks which are with the Justice and Equality Movement of radical stance and the track of the Liberation and Justice which is characterized by good will and honest orientation for reaching
Dr. Omer said that the negotiations in the two tracks to reach either partial or full agreement or suspension of the negotiation till advent of the elected government
