Khartoum, March. 28 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, and the accompanying delegation Sunday returned home after his participation at the 22nd Arab summit which was held in Sert, Libya

statements that President Al-Bashir met on the sidelines of the summit met with a number of the Arab leaders and presidents and reviewed progress of Sudan relations with their respective countries and issues of common interest
President Al-Bashir addressed the summit and lauded the efforts being exerted by the Arab League and its Secretary General for expanding cooperation with the regional and international organizations and boosting the peace efforts in Darfur
President Al-Bashir also appreciated the State of Kuwait for its hosting to the Donors Conference for Development of East Sudan which is scheduled to be held by the end of the current year and its extending to invitations for the Arab countries to participate in the conference. IF/MO
