Sirte, Libya, March 27 (SUNA)- The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar al Bashir has reaffirmed that all Sudanese working abroad are under the responsibly of the government, commending the good reputation and the know how they have spread in the countries
where they are working
The President made the remarks in his statement before a grouping of Sudanese expatriates, held in the premises of Tahadi (challenge) University in Sirte town, evening Friday. The President pointed to the efforts exerted by the govo4ernment to facilitate the return of the Sudanese expatriates to their homeland. He referred to the many exemption offered on their belongings and work tools
He said to this end the Sudan has concluded a number of agreements with countries with the aim of securing the rights of the Sudanese subjects working there. The President pointed to the four rights agreements signed between the Sudan and Libya where Sudanese and Libyan nationals are to be treated equally in each of the two countries
The president has meanwhile said the national salvation has overcome all the hurdles placed on its way, stressing that the coming elections phase is considered an important stage in the life of the country and that the whole matter and the entire choice will be placed in the hands of the people to decide at all levels
The meeting was also addressed by Ambassador Mohamed al Amin al Karib who made a review of the achievements scored by the national salvation in the various fields
The Sudanese expatriates have meanwhile presented Al Bashir with a document of allegiance and support in the name of the Sudanese nationals in the town of Sirte, expressing their rejection and denunciation of the International Criminal Court and reaffirming their support for the nomination of Al Bashir as candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in the coming Presidential Elections
