Khartoum, 15 March, 2010 (SUNA) - The Minister of General Education, Dr. Hamid Mohamed Ibrahim, has lauded the historic and deeply rooted relations between the Sudanese and Eritrean peoples, referring to the common traditions and tribes between the two countries
This came when he received at his
office Monday the Eritrean Minister of Education, Semere Russom, and the accompanying delegation, affirming that the visit comes for the exchange experiences between the two countries in the field of general education and to benefit from these experiences and to get acquainted with the experience of the Sudan in the education of nomads and the exchange of experiences and knowledge in other fields as well
The Eritrean Minister of Education said that his visit to Sudan started with Kassala and Gedaref States to have a closer view of the experience of Sudan in the education of nomads
He said that the relations linking the two countries are historic firm, a matter which was confirmed by his visits to states of Kassala, Gedaref, where he found was a rich and valuable experience in the field of education of nomads, explaining that this experience will be applied in Eritrea
Mr. Semere appreciated the role being played by the Sudanese Ministry of General Education and affirmed the importance of the exchange of visits
