Government Declares its Rejection of American Report on Human Rights in Sudan

Khartoum, Mar. 14 (SUNA)- The government has declared its rejection to the report of the American State Department on human rights in Sudan, indicating that these reports actually denude the political stances of the United States toward a group of countries around the world
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muawiya Osman Khalid, said in

a statement Sunday that like such statements are based on fabrications, bias and incredibility, do not reflect the reality of the situation on the ground and lacking objectivity with regard to incidents
He criticized the United States trend to avoid directing criticism or censure to the barbaric acts of Israel on violation of human rights, killings and imprisonment of people
Khalid said that like such fabricated reports became no more given concern by any one, adding that no one now considers these reports as reliable reference for assessment of human rights
On the allegations on the movement of the leader of the Ugandan Lord Resistance Army (LRA) to Darfur and that the LRA is bracing to attack Uganda from inside the Sudanese territories, the spokesmen of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded with the recent declaration of President Al-Bashir that the Lord Resistance Army is considered a terrorist group that should confronted, and that the Joint Forces will be supported to repulse the LRA from of any inch of the Sudanese soil
He also referred to the various agreements that Sudan has signed in the past to authourize the Ugandan army to pursue elements of the Lord Resistance Army inside the Sudanese territories
He indicated that Darfur is not the proper place for the LRA which has used to fight in forest border areas, questioning the capability of the LRA to fight at desert areas
Khalid said that the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) stipulates support to security all over Sudan, stressing that the expulsion of the LRA outside south Sudan borders will be a boost to the nation's security and the CPA
