In a briefing he gave Thursday to the
Council of Ministers on the outcome of IGAD summit which discussed implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and the the election process. The spokesman of the Council of Ministers said that the IGAD, the African Union and the Arab League have supported holding of the elections and referendum in the fixed timeand agreed to dispatch observers to monitor the elections.
