Nyala, Mar. 8 (SUNA) - The citizen Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, Monday launched his election campaign in South Darfur State in at a mass rally attended by all categories in the society
He announced that the most important aspects of his election programme include
realization of peace and implementation of major development progtrammes in Darfur, especially completing establishment of the Western Salvation Highway and roads to link the localities of South Darfur State with other states of Sudan
Al-Bashir affirmed his serious work to complete realization of peace in Darfur through dialogue and negotiation, saying that Doha forum is open to all to join the peace process
He said that Darfur with its rich history and unique customs and traditions is not needy for foreign intervention to solve its internal issues
He asserted the importance of implementation of the security arrangement axis and realization of comprehensive peace in the country, emphasizing his adherence to the unity option
Al-Bashir said that his election programme focuses on the provision of services, and gives a special concern to the education
He called on the citizens to adhere to peace and peaceful and social co-existence, discard tribalism and not to give a chance for saboteurs and trouble-makers to undermine their security and stability
Meanwhile, representative of the national committee for election of Omer Al-Bashir, Abdalla Ali Massar, said that voting for Al-Bashir will lead to completing establishment of the development, rehabilitation and services projects as well as realization of peace and unity
