Khartoum, 9 March (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, was Tuesday interviewed by First Magazine at the Republican Palace touching on a number of current political issues as well as the economic potentialities of Sudan, besides Sudan contributions in addressing the global food crisis
The interview also tackled Darfur
issue and the efforts to achieve peace and the efforts of the American envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, and the Sudanese - Chinese relations and other issues
President Al-Bashir urged the Western media during the interview to get acquainted with the real situation in Sudan without distortion to facts and reality, pointing out that most Western media tended to deal with the situation in a false way that misleads the international public opinion, a matter which is considered an overt violation of knowledge
