Khartoum, Mar. 9 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has give a directive for expanding the atmosphere of freedom and increasing the time set for the political forces and the nominees for exposing the election programmes and views
for the voters in the coming elections. This came when President Al-Bashir received Tuesday at the Republican Palace the State Minister at the Ministry of Information and Communication, Dr. Kamal Obeid
Dr. Obeid has informed President Al-Bashir on the ministry's efforts for enhancement of the communication systems and services and facilitating the work of the companies and organs operating in this field
In a statement to SUNA, Dr. Kamal Obeid said that the decision on continuity of the election process is governed by laws and systems, adding that the political decision is now confined to the voters, but not to the political forces
Commenting on the American decision to alleviate the sanctions imposed on Sudan, the minister said that the decision on the ban was unfortunate since the beginning, adding that those who issued the ban decision became aware that it is ineffective and useless
He hoped that the ban on Sudan will be lifted in all aspects
