appreciated the initiative of Khartoum to adopt and assign funds for the maintenance and rehabilitation of antiquities He praised the role of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the dignity and pride of the Sudanese nation The Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Khidir, said that Khartoum State has assigned considerable funds in its development budget for the maintenance of antiquities and museums He indicated that Khartoum State will work together with the National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums for maintenance and reparation of antiquities, adding that Khartoum State will be ready to bear the cost of introducing any international mission for maintenance and reparation of antiquities in the state Concerning environment, Dr. Al-Khidir said that Khartoum State brought modern equipments for measuring pollution and assigned considerable funds for enhancement of the environment conditions in Khartoum State MF/MO
