Cairo, March. 2 (SUNA) - The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Tahir, has stressed the necessity of Arab solidarity, boosting of Arab potentialities and mobilization of the energies under the challenges facing the Arab nation
Addressing the meetings of the 16th Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union which started sessions, today Tuesday in Cairo, Al-Tahir assured the important role of the Arab parliamentarians in strengthening the Arab solidarity
The inaugural session of the conference was also addressed by the Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament, Dr. Fathi Sarour, and the Arab League's Secretary General, Amro Musa, who affirmed the importance of the Arab solidarity and adoption of a strategy to enhance the Arab culture and education and to preserve the Arab cultural identity
The conferees denounced the Israeli violations and aggression against the Palestinian people
