Khartoum, March. 2 (SUNA) - The State Minister at the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Bagi Al-Jailani, pledged to support the Sudanese Journalist Union to play its role as one of the civil society organizations concerning with freedom of press
This came when the Minister met Tuesday with a delegation of the union led by Dr. Mohi-Eddin Titawi, and reviewed a number of issues concerning the union and the joining of the union to the net-work of the humanitarian organizations in Sudan
The minister stated that the meeting aimed to reviewing the local and regional activities of the Sudanese Journalist Union and the problems facing it , describing the meeting as fruitful and came on time. He said the union is one of the mechanisms that Sudan depends on to lead the democratic transformation and rejecting of violence during the coming period
