Khartoum - Mar. 2 (SUNA) - The Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources, Engineer Kamal Ali Mohamed, and his Egyptian counterpart, Mohamed Nasr El-Din Allam, Tuesday reviewed the preparations for the convening of the meeting of the ministerial council of the Nile Basin countries which will be devoted to discussing aspects of the institutional cooperation among the Nile Basin countries
The two sides affirmed in a meeting held Tuesday at the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources in Khartoum the importance of establishing the Commission of the Nile Basin countries with the participation of all the countries of the Nile Basin based on the projects agreed on in the Nile Basin Initiative for the fair use of Nile water for the benefits of all the peoples of the Nile Basin region
