Khartoum, Mar. 2 (SUNA) - The Foreign Ministers of Kenya and Ethiopia arrived in Sudan Wednesday as envoys of the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) on a two-day visit to hold talks with a number of senior officials at the federal government and the Government of South Sudan
In a statement to SUNA, the Director of Africa Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdalla Wadi, said that the aim of the visit of the Kenyan and Ethiopian ministers and envoys of IGAD is to be informed about the continuous arrangements for the election process and the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA)
The two envoys of the IGAD will meet with the President of the Republic, the Foreign Minister, Deng Alor, and the State Minister at the Presidency of the Republic, Idris Mohamed Abdul-Gadir
In south Sudan, the two IGAD envoys will meet with the First Vice - President of the Republic and President of the Government of South Sudan, Salva Kiir, and a number of senior officials
