Khartoum, Feb. 28 (SUNA) - The Foundation Conference of the Higher Islamic Council of South Sudan is due to begin in Juba on Monday. The Secretary General of the Islamic Committee for South Sudan and rapporteur of the preparatory committee, Munir Awad Someet, said that all preparations were completed for holding the foundation conference
He said that the conference will be
addressed by the First Vice - President and President of the Government of South Sudan, Salava Kiir
Someet said that the conference will discuss a number of working papers relating to the issues of the southern Muslims in the coming stage, adding that the conference will be held during March 1 - 3
