The agreement was signed by the State Minister at the Ministry of Agriculture, Aboch Ajok Aku, and the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Hussein Al-Haj. The agreement deals with
encouraging the investments between the two countries, easing the procedure for promotion for the agricultural investments , holding a forum for the Sudanese and Lebanese businessmen every two years, encouraging the businessmen to establish joint strategic projects, holding agricultural exhibitions and meetings between the Sudanese and Lebanese investors and supporting the importation and exportation of fruits and vegetables between Sudan and Lebanon
