Doha, Feb. 24 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has underscored the importance of the positive and constructive role in boost the peace process At a press conference held in Doha after the signing of the
framework agreement Tuesday, President Al-Bashir said that peace has come and the people in Darfur with their different social and political components and the brothers in the government and outside it and the movements are convinced about the necessity of peace, adding that the citizens have suffered from war therefore it shall be stopped
He said that the government has signed the framework agreement with the Justice and Equality Movement and will sign a framework agreement with the Movement of Liberation for Justice and the door is open for all the movements that expressed reservation
He said that any other agreements will expand the scope of peace and will attract others, adding that the government is committed to realize permanent and comprehensive peace in Darfur through the negotiations
President Al-Bashir asserted that the government is committed to implement the peace agreements that it has signed. MO/MO
