The conference in its final session stressed the necessity for
concentrating on the projects of infra-structures top of which roads, airports, agriculture, industry, free zones, rehabilitation of schools, hospitals as well as building of slaughter houses
The conference also decided the opening of Arab banks branches in the south, establishment of energy and food security besides setting up of joint mechanism between the Arab League and the Southern government to follow up the implementation of these projects
Meanwhile, the conference has earlier discussed a number of specialized work papers including the various fields of investment in Southern Sudan. IF/MO
