of the situation in Darfur and the work of the United Nations African Union Mission (UNAMID) in the region
The spokesperson for the UNAMID, Mr. Noureddine Mezni told the Sudan News Agency SUNA that General Attah has reassured professor Gambari about the backing of the national security and Intelligence for UNAMID carrying out its mission in Darfur
Mezni told the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) that the two officials met in Khartoum and exchanged views on issues relative to the work of the UNAMID and that General Attah has promised Gambari the support and the cooperation for the UNAMID efforts in bringing peace and stability in Darfur
