Presidency Meeting Affirms its Support to Election Process and its Commitment to Make the Elections Free, Honest and Transparent

Khartoum, Feb. 21 (SUNA)- The Presidential meeting Sunday, headed by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, and included the First Vice - President, Salva Kiir, and the Vice - President, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has affirmed the Presidency support to

the election process in the country and its keenness to make it transparent, honest and free
The Presidency meeting reviewed a report of the National Election Commission and appreciated the progress of the election process
The Presidency agreed on adoption of a political charter to include all the political forces toward providing a positive political atmosphere which is convenient for the elections, stressing that this charter is to be formulated and issued as soon as possible
It is to be recalled that the meeting of the Presidency Saturday evening at the Guest House appreciated the agreement which was reached between the government and the Justice and Equality Movement in the Chadian capital, N'djamena
