 Khartoum, Jan. 31 (SUNA) - The Sudanese Women General Union Sunday celebrated the National Sudanese Women Day and the 20th anniversary for its foundation, in the presence of the Wife of the President of the Republic, Ustaza Fatima Khalid, the federal Minister of Health, Dr. Thabita Boutros, and a number of the leaders of the National Congress.

The celebration was attended by the union's Secretary General, Ustaza Raja Hassan Khalifa, who affirmed the concern being given by the union to enhancement of the conditions of the Sudanese women in all aspects. She called on all the political parties to participate in the major campaign for acquainting with the election process. She also called for providing enhanced political and democratic experiments for support to the peace process. Ustaza Raja said that the Sudanese Women General Union has issued the Women Order for Voluntary and Humanitarian Work and organized session for training and education of mothers.
