Kampala, Jan. 31(SUNA) - The Conference of the Union of the Councils of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has affirmed in Kampala Declaration which it issued its support to Sudan national unity, and expressed its satisfaction over the peace process and the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA ) .

The declaration called on the armed movement who did not sign Darfur peace agreement to halt military escalation and to join the current peace negotiations that are aimed to realization of peace in Darfur .The declaration has rejected imposition of any kind of sanctions on Sudan and intervention in its internal affairs as well as respect to the national sovereignty and the integrity of its territories .The conference also expressed its rejection to the allegations of the International Criminal Court (OIC) against Sudan .
