Khartoum, Jan. 28 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Thursday inaugurated the Information Centre of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of the Minister of Information and Communication.
Al-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik, and the State Minister at the Ministry of Information and Communication, Dr. Kamal Obeid, and the State Minister at the Council f Ministers, Kamal Abdul-Latif. Meanwhile, President Al-Bashir was briefed on the objectives and contents of the Information Centre, which includes modern electronic communication equipments for conducting TV, radio and press activities. Meanwhile, the State Minister at the Council of Ministers, Kamala BDUL-Latif, said that the inauguration of the centre comes in the context of the plans of the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers to establish firm ties with other institutions and to provide comprehensive and enhanced mass media services. He said that establishment of the centre also came in the context of the state's keenness to convey its media message and to enhance the capabilities of the different mass media.
