Khartoum, Jan. 29 (SUNA) - The National Election Commission will begin Saturday publishing the names of the candidates for the executive and legislative positions .

In a statement to SUNA, the Information Advisor of the National Election Commission, Abu Bakr Waziri, affirmed that the commission is committed to the timetable that it has declared for the elections .He said that the commission, South Sudan Election Committee and the higher election committees in the state will begin as of Saturday publishing of the names of the nominees who met the required conditions included in the Elections Act for the positions of the president of the Republic, the president of the government of south Sudan, the Walis (governors) of the states, the National Assembly and the legislative assemblies in the states .Waziri said that the law gives three days for presenting appeals against the declared nominations .
