Khartoum, Jan. 27 (SUNA) - The Sudanese - Japanese dialogue on human Rights was launched Wednesday in the presence of the Rapporteur of the Advisory Council of the Human Rights, Dr. Abdul-Moniem Osman Mohamed Taha, the Ambassador of Japan to Sudan and his deputy.

The Official of Criminal Justice at the Council, Nazar Ahmed Mohamed, said in press statement that the dialogue represent a forum for exchanging information and experiences with regard to the human rights and informing the Japanese side on the situation of human rights in Sudan to enable Japan to take objective stances in decision-making at the international level. Dr. Taha added that the Japanese Ambassador tackled his government's policy on human rights which is represented in the non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries and refrain from using the issue of human rights for political gain.
