Khartoum, Jan 27 (SUNA) - The President of the Republic, and the Supreme Commander of the Police Force, Field Marshal Omar Al Bashir on Wednesday attended the graduation ceremony of the 61st batch, the 38th batch of technicians and the 12th national Security batch.
which was attended by huge presence from the police leadership, the armed forces leaders, as well as ministers and constitutional post holders .The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ibrahim Mahmood Hamid has pointed out in the celebration marking the occasion that those batches are considered a qualitative addition to the police and security works in the country, referring to the huge developments made by the police forces at this continental celebration of the establishment of the police forces .He said thanks to the efforts deployed by the police force, Darfur was now witnessing stability and the overall crimes have dropped in the year 2009. He said the police force was able to form 15 thousand community security committee, and that his has helped prevail security and stability in the country and in the concerned communities .He argued that police and other security organs in the country would remain a vigilant eye that will protect the country, the constitution, peace and all national interests against those who would seek to undermine the unity of the homeland .The Minister has commended the cooperation the ministry of internal affairs in the government of southern Sudan, a cooperation that resulted in the provision of the main town in the south with security and training equipment and training of the police and law enforcement element in the south .
