Khartoum, Jan. 26 (SUNA)-The State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Al-Samani Al-Wasila, received in his office Tuesday the Chairperson of the Independent Election Commission in South Africa.
who is visiting Sudan on the invitation of the National Election Commission in the context of the technical and institutional cooperation between Sudan and South Africa. The South African official said that she got informed on the preparations for the coming elections, calling for more efforts for educating the voters on the elections by the political parties. Meanwhile, the Minister informed the Chairperson of the Independent Election Commission in South Africa on the great concern given by Sudan government and people to the general elections process which is regarded as necessary for realizing peace and national reconciliation.
