Khartoum, Jan 26 (SUNA)- the Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has underlined the strength of the Arab Chinese relation particularly in the field of the energy as it represents one of the most important pillars in the international relations and international economy .
Adressing the opining session of the Second Forum of the Chinese Arab Cooperation Tuseday in Khartoum, Taha has described the Arab Chinese cooperation as a model to be copied and that it has achieved bright results that would be followed by the countries of the south .He said Sudan is currently witnessing an important phase in its history where it works to achieve peace in the various areas and is preparing itself for the coming legislative and presidential elections while at the same time it is witnessing peace in Darfur, recognized by the world .Taha commended the support of the Arab countries and China for the Sudan in the international forums and praised the Arab League for its role in unifying the Arab ranks .The Vice President praised China which, he said has shown the soundness of its experience and its economic structures that were able to overcome the international financial crisis, calling for preserving the fruitful cooperation with China .Taha has affirmed the importance of the current conference in boosting relations of joint cooperation in the various domains, urging the conferees to come up with mechanisms and agreements that would serve the interests of the two sides .
