Khartoum, Nov. 18 (SUNA) - The Ministers of Irrigation and Water Resources of Sudan and Egypt, Engineer Kamal Ali Mohamed, and Engineer Mohamed Naser Alaam, respectively, affirmed in a meting they held in Khartoum the importance of boosting the cooperation with all the countries of the Nile Basin through the Nile Basin
Initiative, besides establishment of a cooperation framework for optimum and fair use of the Nile water for the benefit of the peoples of the Nile Basin. The meeting of the two Ministers, which was held at the premises of the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources, has discussed the ongoing preparations to make success the Meeting of the Nile Basin Experts, scheduled be held in Tanzania in next December toward reaching consensus on the cooperation framework agreement among the countries of the Nile Basin.
