Khartoum, Oct. 28 (SUNA)- The Minister of Industry, Dr. Jalal Yousif Al-Degair, Wednesday received the Ambassador of Brazil to Sudan and discussed the cooperation between Sudan and Brazil in the economic and industrial domains, especially in the spheres of sugar and ethanol industry and the transfer of technology.

 The meeting also deliberated about the exchange of visits between the businessmen in the two countries and establishing industrial partnership between Sudan and Brazil in a number of sectors. Dr. Al-Degair said at the meeting that his ministry is planning to cooperate with UNIDO to implement a plan for comprehensive modernization of the industrial sector in Sudan through cooperation with the private sector, welcoming the contribution of Brazil in this connection. He affirmed Sudan welcome to the Brazilian investments all fields in Sudan, especially in the industrial sector. MO/MO
