Khartoum, Oct 28 (SUNA) - The Secretary General of the Sudanese People's Liberation Movement (SPLM), Bagan Amum, currently on a visit to Japan, met with the Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister and reviewed with him the socio-economic development in Southern Sudan,
implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), the elections as well as the referendum. A statement issued by the Japanese Foreign Ministry pointed out that the two sides agreed to continue the effective cooperation in the fields of the joint economic cooperation. The statement added that the visit came at an invitation extended by the Japanese Foreign Ministry. IF/BT
