Damazin, Oct. 28 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, affirmed that realization of peace was the biggest accomplishment of the Salvation government, adding that the implementation of services and development projects was the fruit of peace.
Addressing a mass rally Thursday in Damazin town, the capital of the blue Nile State, President Al-Bashir stressed that the government has raised the banner of peace, stability and progress and will never abandon it. He said that Sudan will never return again to the era of war, indicating that the common goal of the Sudanese people is realization of peace and stability and continuing implementation of development and rehabilitation projects. He referred to the gains that will be received by the citizens affected by the heightening of Rossaires Dam in the fields of education, health, water and housing. President Al-Bashir affirmed the government support to the implementation of the agricultural development programmes, increasing the per capita income and enhancing the citizens conditions. He said that the Salvation government has launched a genuine development revolution. He pointed out that the meeting of the federal Council of Ministers in Damazin aims to solve problems in the Blue Nile State and reviewing the plans of its government and adopting decisions in this regard. President Al-Bashir affirmed that Sudan will respond to its enemies with more development projects, appreciating the accomplishments of the Blue Nile State in the fields of education, roads, health.
