Khartoum, Oct 27 (SUNA) - The Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Tuseday got aquainted with the outcome of the recent visit of the Minister, Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid,and the accompanying delegation to south Sudan.
The Minister of Interior told SUNA following his meeting with the Vice - President at the Republican Palace that his visit to the south came in the context of the project for maintaining security and stability in the South, which was declared earlier by the President of the Republi, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, at the National Assembly. The minister pointed out that the two sides agreed to support and to qualify the police forces in the south. He described the security situation in the South as satisfactorily, adding that there is a full cooperation between the security forces in the two sides to put and end to the instability and the tribal disputes.
