Khartoum, March 1 (SUNA)- The State Minister at the Ministry of Information, Ustaza Sana Hamad, said that Sudan did not and will never intervene in the territories of South Sudan State, but consider it a neighboring and sovereign country.
In a statement to SUNA, the minister said that Sudan has continuously been defending to its territories, a matter which is certified by the complaints that were forwarded to the Security Council.
She pointed out that Sudan and the Armed Forces regard the accusations raised by the Republic of South Sudan as a possible threatening to the Sudanese oil fields that are bordering to South Sudan, warning from any aggression against these oil fields.
The minister said that Sudan has forwarded its fourth complaint this week to the Security Council against repeated aggressions of South Sudan republic on the Sudanese territories, the last of which was the infiltration and aggression staged on Al-Abiyad Lake in South Kordofan State.
She said that the claims given by South Sudan government, through statements of its spokesman, were erroneous and false, indicating that Sudan that has voluntarily given South Sudan its separation for the sake of peace and in respect to the will of its citizens and to hour Sudan pledges have no interest to undermine the stability of South Sudan State.
The minister said that it is sorrowful that the failure of South Sudan government to manage its internal affairs and to serve its citizens is always pushing it to violate the rules of decent behavior, dealing with the international community and respecting the international customs on dealing with the neighboring countries.
