Khartoum, Feb. 7 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Tuesday evening received at the Guest House the visiting General Commander of Dubai Police Forces, Gen. Dhahi Khalfan, in the presence of the General Commander of the Police Forces, Gen. Hashim Osman Al-Hussein.
In a statement after the meeting, Gen. Dhahi Khalfan said that the Police of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will never forget the great role done by the Sudanese experts in laying down the bases of the security, police and criminal work in the United Arab Emirates.
He affirmed the readiness of the Police of the United Arab Emirates for cooperation and Coordination with the Sudanese Police Forces in the field of modern technology which is enjoyed by the Police Forces of the United Arab Emirates.
The Director of the Police Forces, Gen. Hashim Osman Al-Hussein, said that the visit of Gen. Dhahi Khalfan comes in the context of the existing cooperation between the Police Forces in Sudan and the United Arab Emirates.
He pointed to a directive of the President of the Republic for bolstering the cooperation between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates.
