Khartoum, Jan. 23 (SUNA)- A memo of understanding was signed Monday between Rasilat Company for
Printing, Trade and Service of Sudan News Agency (SUNA) and
the Saudi Anwar Al-Rasheed Information Company to provide the Sudanese expatriates in Saudi Arabia with short massages service (SMS) as well as cooperation in the fields of training, media production and exchange of consultations and studies.
The General Manager of Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Awad Jadain, affirmed his support to the project for the interest of the peoples of the two countries and bolstering the ties between them, stressing the importance of benefiting from the experiences and capabilities of Saudi Arabia in the media spheres.
He said that SUNA aims to benefit from the Multimedia Exchange Network over Satellite (MENOS) system in the distance learning service country-wide.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of SUNA, Gen. Al-Fatih Al-Jaili, described the memo of understanding as representing an important partnership in the media which is playing a key role at the level of international relations.
The Director Rasilat Company, Gamaral-Anbiya Yousif, describes the memo of understanding as aimed for establishing an effective partnership - through which the company aims for enhancing the media performance and providing news and information externally.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Saudi Anwar Al-Rasheed Information Company, Dr. Jalal Osman said that his company operated in the fields of media training, montage, public relations and advertisement, adding that the company is operating several projects in a number of countries.MO/MO
