 Serte, July, 2 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, met in Serte, Libya, Thursday with the re-elected Algerian President, Abdulaziz Boutafliqa, and congratulated him on his re-election.

President Al-Bashir briefed his Algerian counterpart on the developments in Sudan. The Algerian President expressed his country's support to Sudan at the regional and international forums. The meeting also touched on the situation in Palestine, Somalia, Mauritania and the Horn of Africa. IF/MO
