Ministry of International Cooperation , UN, organize workshop on compatibility of UN programs with national requirements

Khartoum, Sept. 15 (SUNA) Ministry of International Cooperation with coordination with the United Nation Development Program organize a workshop on the strategic vision for the compatibility of the United Nations programs to cope with the national requirements in Sudan , during the period from 19 to 21 of current September at the Ministry of International Cooperation.The workshop, under the sponsorship of the Minister of International Cooperation Dr. Jalal Yusuf Al Degair, aims at setting up strategy targeting harmonization of the national expectations and strategies, and the requirements of the human's development with the United Nations Programs in the country, where the workshop comes in the framework of enhancement of the national ownership of the programs.The director of the organizations department at the Ministry of International Cooperation explained that the workshop will discuss the recent and future situations of the development and the challenges that face the country to come out with the priorities that actually expresses the real requirements, he added that the coming stage considered an important turning point in the process of development cooperation with the partners , beside the challenges and issues concerning the urgent priorities. He stressed in the necessity of the formation of a comprehensive future vision for inclusion of the expected programs, indicating that the workshop would be proceeded by a broad based meeting next Sunday morning with the concerned national organs and the state officials for the deliberation on these issues .On the other hand, the Ministry of International Cooperation is working on the preparations for holding the donors meeting for the capability building for education curriculums and support during the first week of next October, with the participation of the Ministry of General Education , Human Resources Development, the UNESCO Organization and the National Organization of the UNESC.TA
