Khartoum, June 8 (SUNA) - Sudan and Chad Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding on supporting and developing decentralization in the two countries. The Memorandum was signed by Secretary General of the Higher Council for Decentralized government Prof. Al-Amin Daffallah, and the Chadian Minister assigned with Decentralized governance at the Chadian Council of Ministers, Hamid Mohammed Dahloub, who is currently on a visit to SudanProf. Al-Amin Daffallah welcomed the signing of the memorandum, saying that it was a culmination of the relations of fraternity as well as a fresh impetus of the cooperation relations between Sudan and ChadHe revealed that the two sides agreed to support aspect of cooperation in labour, recruitment, vocational safety, reformations and the administrative development as well as foreign relationsThe agreement included exchange of visits, experts, legislations and regulations of labour as well as training and capacity building at all aspects, said Prof. Al-Amin DallafallahThe agreement also includes set up of a joint committee to coordinate between the two countries with respect to the implementation of the memorandum of understanding. The two sides also work to search for funding for implementation of training programmes from International, Arab and Islamic organizationsThe Secretary General of the Higher Council for Decentralized governance explained that the agreement will last for five years and would be automatically renewed unless one party expresses desire to terminate it, saying that it would take effect from date of its signingMF / MFBack
