Sudan, Security Council to discuss Abyei issue and pending North-South dossier on Sunday

Khartoum, May 21 (SUNA)- Talks between the government and members of visiting UN Security Council delegation, expected here evening Saturday, will begin official talks on Sundayon theim plementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement as well as efforts exerted to resolve pending issues between the north and the south and Abyei issueKhalid Musa, the official Spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs told SUNA that the talks would tackle Sudan's relations with the UN and joint issues, adding that the session would be followed by workings dinnerThe Vice President Ali Osman Taha will also receive the delegation to discuss issues of mutual concernThe spokesman told SUNA that this visit is routine one, and is meant to boost relations between Sudan and the UNHe added that the visit would allow members of the delegation to get first hand information about the situations on the groundIA/MABack
