Sharjah April 19 (SUNA)-Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber Board of Director, Ahmed Muhamed Al Mudfa has stressed the deeply-rooted ties linking Sudan and United Arab Emirates, saying the chamber is seeking to achieve model economic partnership with all Arab countries. Al Mudfa made the remark here in a meeting with the visiting River Nile State led by the governor of the State, Gen al hady Abdallah. River Nile Minister of Investment and Mining , Abdel Salam Al Qady and Sudan ambassador to UAE were present at the meeting. Sudan is strategic depth of UAE in terms of food, he said , noting that the progress in Sudan will encourage UAE private sector to contribute further in Sudan. The heralding opportunities will lead to further investment and economic partnership between the two countries, he said. Al Muda has pledged Sharjah Cohamber's support to joint projects, calling on local private sector to avail of investment opportunities in the River Nile State. The visit tends to promote investment opportunities in the state, said Gen Al Hady Appreciating Sudanese-UAE ties, Sudan General Consul , said it is encouraging to Arabs to avail of investment potentials in Sudan.
