Khartoum, June 15 (SUNA) - An agreement on cooperation in the fields civil aviation training, safety and security was signed Monday between the Civil Aviation Authority and Britain. The General Director of the Authority, Engineer Mohamed Abdul-Aziz, who signed for Sudan, affirmed that the signing of the agreement reflects the cooperation between Sudan and Britain in the fields of aviation safety and security,
capacity building and boosting the air safety, pointing out that the agreement comes in the context of the efforts being exerted by the Civil Aviation Authority and its strategy which is aims to enhance the air safety and security during the coming years. The British Ambassador to Sudan, who signed for her country, said the agreement is considered an aspect of the cooperation between, adding that according to the agreement Britain will provide training opportunities for the Sudanese cadres in the air safety and security fields.
