Khartoum, Feb. 16 (SUNA) - Sudan Petroleum Company (SUDAPET) has revealed the intention to establish a joint petroleum company with the National Petroleum and Gas Company of Chad
The Deputy General Director of SUDAPET, Ali Farouq, explained in a statement to SUNA that the company will work in the various oil sectors, particularly the geological and geophysical surveys as well as other logistic activities
He referred to the memorandum of understanding signed by SUDAPET and the Chadian National Petroleum and Gas Company to boost the mutual cooperation and to support the Chadian company
The agreement deals with cooperation in domains of training and capacity building, and according to which SUDAPET would offer six training scholarships in all the oil fields to the Chadian side. The Deputy General Director of SUDAPET said that the two sides agreed on the exchange geological information pertinent to the joint sedimentary basins, particularly in block 12 A and 12 B
