Khartoum, Feb. 15 (SUNA)- The Joint Negotiation Committee between the National Congress and Umma Party-Reform and Development wing discussed amendment of the constitution and issues of government in the coming period
Secretary-General of the Umma Party, Abdul-Hafiz Al-Sadiq Abdul-Rahim, pointed out that the meeting came in the framework of political partnership between the two parties, especially that coming period requires unity of internal front through effective partnership
He added the Committee also looked into issues of Abyei, poverty combat, and increase of income as well as the necessity of pursuing dialogue with other political forces for reaching shared vision about the issues of the period to come
