El-Fasher, Aug. 23 (SUNA)- The Commissioner of Al-Tina Locality, North Darfur State, Jaafar Bushara Ibrahim, has discussed with the Head of the Civil Affairs Department of the UN and African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) and number of the national non-governmental organizations the best means to provide the humanitarian services to the citizens affected by the security incidents in Darfur

The meeting also discussed means of re-constructing and maintenance of schools, wells, dams and health utilities in the locality

The commissioner commended the great role being played by the UNAMID and the national and foreign NGOs that are working in the humanitarian fields in the area as a major contribution to the peace and stability in Darfur
