Khartoum, Aug.22 (SUNA) - The Leather Technology Centre has started work for leather production and setting out of the necessary models for the development of the leather industry in most advanced international characteristics within the framework of reactivation of the idle capacities in the industry
The Minister of Industry, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz, during his inspection visit to the centre, praised the efforts exerted for improvement of work
He inspected the sections of the centre which included tanning machine with capacity of 3000 feet per day alongside the finishing, design and models manufacturing
Dr. Al-Jaz gave directives on the necessity of indigenization of industry on a solid ground besides realization the planned target horizontally and vertically with the related sectors to guarantee the continuity of industrialization through a scientific methodology to achieve value added to the Sudanese products
