 Khartoum, August 22 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, was informed on the security situation in West Darfur and disappearance of the armed movements and the tribal conlicts in the region, especially following the defeat of the Justice and Equaliy Movement in the north of the state as well as the efforts being exerted to put an end to the tribal disputes in Western Darfur

This came when President Al-Bashir received Sunday the Wali (governor) of Western Darfur State, Jaafar Abdul-Hakam, who said that the meeting reviewed the services and implementation of development projects, especially in the fields of water, health, electricity, roads and rural electricity projects

Meanwhile, the Wali affirmed that his government, the UNAMID and the security committee of the state have agreed to prevent existence of arms in the camps of the internally displaced people, adding that they are working to arrest the persons who involved in the recent security crimes and bring them for trial
