Khartoum, Aug. 22 (SUNA) - Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has lauded progress of the relations between Sudan and Saudi Arabia
This came when he received the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Jolly Mosques to Sudan, Faisal bin Hamid Muala, at his office at the Republican Palace
Taha affirmed Sudan keenness to boost its strategic relations and cooperation with Saudi Arabia, particularly in the economic and investment domains
Meanwhile, the Saudi Ambassador said in a statement to SUNA that his meeting with the Vice President touched on the bilateral relations and the keenness of the two countries to meet the aspirations of their peoples for progress and prosperity
He also pointed to the current preparations to hold the third session of the joint ministerial committee as well as the keenness of Saudi Arabia to encourage the Saudi private sector to increase its investments in Sudan
