 Kadugli, 22 August, 2010 (SUNA) - The Wali (governor) of South Kordofan State, Ahmed Haroun, has attended the closing sitting of the People's Consolation Workshop, which was organized in Abu-Jibaiha by the technical committee for the people's consultation in collaboration with Abko Organization, with the participation of representatives of the eastern localities of the State

Addressing the sitting, the Wali of South Kordufan State said that the concept of people's consultation is one of the new political concepts, explaining that it aims to identifying the views of the people regarding the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA)

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Legislative Council of South Kordofan State, Ibrahim Mohamed Balendiya, said that the CPA regards as necessary the work of the governments of South Cordofan and the Blue Nile States to raise the awareness of the people on the concept of the people's consultation
